Timbuctu coffee & side table

This series of small tables, similar to trays, grew out of the stylistic features of colonial furniture. Light structures with opaque shadow bronze finish in which wood stone and leather are blended in a powerful recalling of nature.

Timbuctu Coffee Table: a large size table with an unusual canoe shape, made of ash elm wood. The four legs frame with crosspieces is made of metal with a Bronze Shadow Opaque finish, legs are covered in Nabuck, with a matching colored braided pattern print.
On request the oval tray made of Noto stone is available to be placed on the top.

Fashion designer during the 80’s, Samuele has designed for the most important Italian fashion brands.
Fashion-inspired art collector has held important exhibitions concerning several themes such as Brahaus, Cinderella's Revenge, (just to mention a few of them).
In the 90’s he has published a book series dedicated to Made in Italy fashion for Electa-Mondadori.
He has devised a big memorial display dedicated to Federico Fellini and Fellini's art, in collaboration with Ida Panicelli and Massimo Vignelli.
For the ‘Pitti Immagine Uomo’, Mazza creates another book followed by an exhibition-event: an unprecedented retrospective on the debated and mysterious charm of the Latin Lover (Charta catalogue).
In the early 2000’s, he has created an important and universally highly regarded lifestyle and furniture brand, which was afterward sold to an investment fund and listed on the stock exchange.
Mazza is designer, book author, and recently promoter and trend setter of locations.
Together with a small group of friends Mazza has in fact rediscovered, as Goethe in the 19th century, a place, Noto, now introduced to the world as a new little paradise on earth. In 2018 he launches its collaboration with Paolo Castelli S.p.A. signing the Capsule collection by Samuele Mazza, a new and powerful interior mood inspired by Africa, nature and its pure authenticity.
