The whiteness of the painted plaster highlights the green of the foliage in this series of metal structure vases enhanced with galvanic finish.
Fashion designer during the 80’s, Samuele has designed for the most important Italian fashion brands. Fashion-inspired art collector has held important exhibitions concerning several themes such as Brahaus, Cinderella's Revenge, (just to mention a few of them). In the 90’s he has published a book series dedicated to Made in Italy fashion for Electa-Mondadori. He has devised a big memorial display dedicated to Federico Fellini and Fellini's art, in collaboration with Ida Panicelli and Massimo Vignelli. For the ‘Pitti Immagine Uomo’, Mazza creates another book followed by an exhibition-event: an unprecedented retrospective on the debated and mysterious charm of the Latin Lover (Charta catalogue). In the early 2000’s, he has created an important and universally highly regarded lifestyle and furniture brand, which was afterward sold to an investment fund and listed on the stock exchange. Mazza is designer, book author, and recently promoter and trend setter of locations. Together with a small group of friends Mazza has in fact rediscovered, as Goethe in the 19th century, a place, Noto, now introduced to the world as a new little paradise on earth. In 2018 he launches its collaboration with Paolo Castelli S.p.A. signing the Capsule collection by Samuele Mazza, a new and powerful interior mood inspired by Africa, nature and its pure authenticity.
